Cathedral in beirut.

Pierre Boulos
Funeral
Pierre Boulos an LF Member
was found dead in the trunk of his car outside the Jemayze Hospital
after disappearing two days ago. Forensic experts have concluded the
cause of death was severe trauma to the head by a large metal object.
Pierre Boulos was chairman of the LF Students Branch in the 80's and
the dynamics of this murder are very similar to Ramzi Irani's death.
The funeral for Pierre Boulous was held on Sunday, May 2nd at Saint
Joseph Church (Hikmeh School - Ashrafieh).

LF Freedom March: A Massive Event!
Sunday's April 18 2004 event was more than incredible it was
divine! One of the biggest and most successful LF events in recent years.
Rice and rose petals were thrown on the LF from balconies as they passed
by from below.

LF Sit-in Ein El Remeneh:
Tuesday April 13 2004 a sit-in took place in Ain el Remeneh on the memory
of the Lebanese War titled “Free Dr. Geagea to turn the last leaf of the
civil war”. Before the event started a small group of people tried to
disrupt the sit in and tried to force the LF members to leave but after
some compromises the sit-in was allowed to take place. The Lebanese anthem
was played followed by the LF anthem at the start of the event which
included many representatives from the media including LBC, NTV, and Al
Diyar. Among the attendees present were Sami and Nadim Gemayel, and the LF
responsibles from Ain el Remeneh. A small mass took place and hundreds of
candles were lit. A huge Samir Geagea poster was also shown to the crowd
to their amazement. The poster will be carried on Sunday at the march (massira)
to Bkerki.

A memorial mass on the occasion of the
tenth anniversary of the bombing of Our Lady of Salvation Church (Saydet
al Najet) was held today, Friday the 27th of February. The attendance
was greater then last year and the army presence was even bigger.

Camille Chamoun
Day in AUB:
 The
Back To Roots club , in collaboration with the NLP students
organisation is organizing an exhibition to commemorate the great
Camille Chamoun, one of the most distinguised Christian, Lebanese
and Arab leaders, founder of the National Liberal party,among the
founders of the Lebanese Front and most of all one of the rare
presidents who worked for Lebanon's sake .
The opening of the exhibition will be held on Wednesday the 10th of
December .
Location : American University of Beirut, West Hall .
A conference entitled " President Chamoun through his contemporates"
will take place in the Bathish room , and will be presented by Dory
Chamoun , head of the NLP party and son of President Chamoun ...
Mahmoud Ammar , Khalil Khalil and Ghassan Tueni will also be present
to talk about their experience with Camille Chamoun .
More than 20 political and social figures will be attending this
event,among them we will note the presence of : President Amine
Gemayel,Solange Gemayel, Strida Geagea, Pierre Gemayel, Hares Chehab,
Nadim Lteif ,Gabriel el Murr, Poussy Achkar, George Deeb, etc etc
...
Exhibition will continue from Wednesday the 10th till 12th of
December 2003 from 9am to 5pm .
Everyone is invited to attend the conference and visit the
exhibition.

- LF Students Sit-in:
Tomorrow at 11AM (November 21st 2003) the LF students have planned a
sit-in at the rocks of Nahr Al Kalb (Dog River). The student
branches of the Phalange Corrective Movement and Dory Chamoun's
National Liberal Party will also take part in the sit-in. The sit-in
is for Lebanon's lost independence under Syria's tutelage and will
coincide with Independence Day which is on Saturday. Please attend.

Conference with
Dr. Toufik Al Hindi, Political Adviser of Dr. Samir Geagea,
Wednesday October 22nd 2003 at 2 pm, More than 150 students and
personalities from inside and outside campus showed up to the event
and almost filled the Bathish room ...
The Conference started with the Lebanese national anthem , then the
president of the back To Roots club said an introduction speech
introducing Dr.Hindi and Journalist Nasseer el As3ad and then gave
the word to Dr.Hindi .
Dr.Hindi explained that the implementation of Taef should be the
first thing the next president should do ....and that national
reconciliation is only attainable through new and fair elections and
the implementation of the Taef agreement .
He then pointed out to the consequences of Arresting one of the
crucial sides of this agreement which is Dr.Samir Geagea , which
deeply weakened the Christian political scene and led to an unequal
balance of powers in the government .
Dr. As3ad continued asking for the implementation of Taef in order
to reach national reconciliation and defined Dr.Geagea;s arrest as a
political one for thick political purposes ..
