Patriarch Sfeir visit to Brussels, Belgium

On Sunday, October 12 2003, at 7pm, Patriarch Sfeir celebrated a mass at Saints Michel and Gudule Cathedral in Belgium. The Lebanese Forces were strongly present (250 demonstrators outside the Church according to Belgian police) to accommodate the Patriarch and to express their support for his fight to free Lebanon.  Outside the Church, people held Pictures of Patriarch Sfeir and Dr. Samir Geagea. In addition, they raised Lebanese, Belgium and Belgium flags as well as slogans calling for freedom to Lebanon and the release of our leader Dr. Samir Geagea. A delegation of the Lebanese Forces Office in Belgium held a meeting with Patriarch Sfeir on Tuesday, October 14 2003, during which they thanked Patriarch Sfeir for being, as always, the voice who always defend the Lebanese Christian cause and Lebanon as a whole. They also asked him to keep as priority, the release of our Leader, Dr. Samir Geagea.  The LF office in Belgium gave the Patriarch a souvenir to mark his visit to Brussels.
