The Lebanese Forces issued a statement on Tuesday that its leader, Samir Geagea, pressed slander and defamation charges on March 26, 2010 against Tawhid Movement leader MP Wiam Wahhab, OTV and several OTV staff members - including head of the board Roy al-Hashem, head of news department Jean Aziz and talk show hostess Shirley al-Murr.

Earlier during the month, Murr interviewed Wahhab on her talk show, Fakker Marratayn (Think Twice), during which he accused Geagea of a number of crimes, which the LF statement strongly denied.

The statement added that this is not the first time that Wahhab launches false accusations against the LF leader.
