"The President looks forward to discussing with the King bilateral U.S.-Jordanian relations, efforts to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the situation in Lebanon, and other regional issues," said the brief statement.

Abdullah's visit coincides with talks in Washington between Bush and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in an effort to advance Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.
